  • Critical Dialogue - Public Participation in Review
    An occasional journal that addresses public participation and governance. The publication is closely linked to dialogues that are convened by the Centre for Public Participation. The journal is a combination of written works by academics, journalists, activists and civil society practitioners.
  • Critical Social Policy
    Provides an international forum for advocacy, analysis and debate on social policy issues. The journal is aimed at those who are involved in welfare issues through pressure groups, consumer groups and community action, practitioners and workers in statutory and voluntary agencies, as well as teachers and researchers in social welfare issues and social policy.­­
  • Evaluation Exchange
    A periodical dealing with programme and policy analysis, particularly those focused on children, families, and communities. Highlights innovative approaches to evaluation, trends in evaluation practice and practical applications of evaluation theory. It goes out to subscribers free of charge four times per year.
  • Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis
    Publi­shed four times per year, this is the only explicitly comparative journal of policy studies. JCPA addresses public policy analysis and public administration and management. Article abstracts can be browsed online.­
  • Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy
    Publishes articles from all branches of economics and features contributions that have policy relevance, both theoretical and applied. Online open access is available from March 2008.
  • Journal of European Social Policy
    An interdisciplinary forum for research and debate on social policy developments in Europe from the European Social Policy Analysis Network
  • Journal of Policy Analysis and Management
    Focuses on a number of substantive fields of public policy or that deal with issues of professional practice in policy analysis and management.
  • Journal of Poverty
    The first refereed journal to provide a platform for discourse on poverty and inequality,  encouraging a more progressive orientation to these issues.
  • Journal of Social Policy
    Carries articles on all aspects of social policy in an international context, particularly those which contribute to debates on the future direction of social policy, to present new empirical data, to advance theories, or to analyse issues in the making and implementation of social policies.
  • Policy Studies Journal
    Published on behalf of the Policy Studies Organization, PSJ publishes individually-submitted articles and symposia by social scientists and other public policy researchers and leaders. The journal addresses a wide range of public policy issues at all levels of government, and welcomes a comparative approach.

  • Social Policy and Society
    Sponsored by the UK Social Policy Association, the journal welcomes original articles that draw upon contemporary policy-related research and associated developments in the social scienc­es. Each issue contains peer reviewed articles reflecting topical debates and issues within social policy and uniquely, a themed section, edited by a guest editor(s).
